Solution Manager in Airport Sector (Senior / Junior)

Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Solution Manager in Airport Sector (Senior / Junior) to join their business in the EU (flexible).

Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales IT support for Clients global Airport projects (wireless, transmission, unified communications, IT, IP…)
- Deliver quality and cost optimized technical proposal according to customer RFP
- Lead Clients technical project team during bidding & technical clarification phase and support sales team for commercial negotiation phase
- Client technical interface to customer technical team, till CTO
- Optimise related technical bidding templates and methods
- Capture and analyze the IT development trends of Airport market, support new solution development by tracking key market and customer requirements
- Contribute to standardization meetings and/or standardization studies
- Competition analysis
- Support special projects (e.g. trials, key product activities, etc)
- Support market branding actions and industry events, perform speeches in relative events (exhibition & forum & seminar & workshop, etc), continuous communication with senior customers
- Train local/regional account teams

Qualifications:
- Subject Matter Expert in Aviation sector ICT solutions (ground based communications)
- Preferably with first-hand experience in operating ICT technology at airports
- 8 years in the Aviation Sector preferably from end customer side or with strong ICT System Integrator background
- Strong consulting & Pre-Sales skills
- Ability to design a consistent solution for Airport projects, closely collaborating with relevant product lines and 3 rd party companies
- Ability to understand Clients key competitors, anticipate their moves and deploy deal winning tactics
- Flexible to travel (50%)
