Description
As part of an established, motivated and fast moving team, the successful candidate would work for an experienced team leader to help deliver world class engine systems and components across several applications.
Delivery scale would be from Concept to Production Launch.
Primary Keys areas of responsibility; delivering package updates to base engine team, delivering package updates to confirmed vehicle teams, providing CAD support for Base Engine Design Reviews & Virtual Series builds, regular installation checks of all updates to ensure design compatibility, weekly update of all DPA trackers.
Additional areas of responsibility: support D&R teams with extra CAD resource to assist in problem resolution, raising and management of AIMs, support Design Integration AIMs management with CAD studies.
Catia V6 experience would be advantageous, Experience of Catia V5 is essential and ideally Teamcentre.
Candidates will need to have a strong understanding of design requirements and constraints in an engine and vehicle environment. Awareness of Manufacturing processes associated with engine components and engine assembly.
Experience of component packaging and ability to identify and support the resolution of packaging and installation issues.
