Fibre Civils Supervisor - Contract - 6-12 months - Leinster, Ireland
- Experience of Irish fixed and cable operator network build guidelines and ways of working, including GPON, FTTX and HFC networks
- Understanding of fibre network architectures and network topologies
- Network build experience in the Irish fibre services industry or civils industry
A leading International Telecommunications company is looking for a Fibre Civils Supervisor for a 6-12 month basis.
This role will require travel across Ireland for specific fibre projects.
You will be expected to supervise and line manage the civils, cabling and splicing gangs to ensure control and management of the 3rd party civils and cabling Sub-contractors on-site.
You will be ensuring and assuring safe systems of works are followed and adhered to for the entire duration of the work/project.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Meeting OHS, construction, build quality, productivity and efficiency targets
- Managing any welfare requirements of the civils, cabling and splicing gangs
- Liaising with local authorities and residents, as appropriate, to ensure compliance with local requirements prior to and during any construction
- Ensuring that the correct liaison with local authorities and residents has taken place and any local requirements are adhered to
- Attending any meetings as required, on-site or at local authorities premises
