Capacity and Performance Analyst

The Capacity Management team is currently organized around 3 main areas: One domain responsible for the Mainframe and Tandem technologies, one domain specialized in the Distributed Technologies and a third domain, supporting Business and Service Capacity Management. The team is responsible for a full set of activities covering both Capacity and Performance aspects. We addresses the capacity planning (yearly and monthly follow up), demand collection, forecasting, performance and capacity operations to prevent Capacity and/or Performance incidents while keeping cost under control; recently we took over the Business volume forecast, activity monitoring Business consumption and its evolution. We are also involve in various projects, ensuring an application is rightly sized and well tuned. We develop models to correlate resources consumption with expected volumes and service.

Role:

  • The candidate will work as Capacity Management expert in the Business and Service Domain.
  • S/He will contribute to the setup of a Business and Service Capacity Management and will further help to develop the activities around Demand Management, volume forecast and risk Matrix (Risk assessment of capacity and performance of a Service).
  • S/He will further participate to the projects s/he will be assigned, for which there will be a need to monitor the Business/Service and implement a capacity follow up.
  • S/He will participate to Capacity and Performance daily operations whenever requested.

Profile:

  • You have a good knowledge of Capacity Management Processes, translating demand (from Business, projects, ...) into forecast, and related analytics activities.
  • You have experience (senior level) in dealing with Business and Service capacity Management, analysing and correlating data and producing adequate reports for the Management and the Customers.
  • You have previously setup (contributed) Business & Service capacity management processes in an IT Company.
  • You have good communication skills (written and spoken) and have a collaborative mindset.
  • You can work autonomously and have leadership skill to act/drive in processes definition and project activities.
  • Experience in Charge back is a plus; Knowledge of SQL is a plus (SQL Server Reporting).
  • You are Continuous Improvement oriented.
