Splunk Consultant level II / Knowledge and experience of ITSI glass tablesLondon basedFinancial sector

My client, A friendly and dynamic company, whos passion is developing mould-breaking IT solutions, were founded in 2005 by a team of experienced and successful professionals who realised that a change was needed in the IT Operations Management market. Due to sustained, organic growth, they are now looking for like-minded individuals to work on time critical pieces of work that will further push them forward. Please see below.

Splunk consultant level II, Architect certified or is at least level I certified with previous Splunk data on boarding experience

Knowledge and experience of ITSI glass tables, KPI development, service relationship mapping, and dashboards for on boarding (desirable)

Knowledge and experience of Universal Forwarder, rsyslog, CIM mapping, deployment server and Splunk indexer clusters

2-3 years of current experience in technical consulting or big data analytics

2-3 years of Splunk consulting or development experience

Experience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable on the command line interface

Working knowledge or recent experience with scripting languages (bash), regex, application development (python, java), databases and analytical tools

Strong experience administering and monitoring enterprise operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and Solaris

A broad background in technical infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and storage is very desirable

Demonstrable understanding of common enterprise applications (especially in the areas of security and finance)

Experience supporting large-scale deployments and performing integration work through multiple product releases.

Ability to quickly explore, examine and understand complex problems and how it relates to the customer's business

Ability to stop, collaborate and listen with technical and non-technical consumers from IT administrators to executive level stakeholders

Well organized with a healthy sense of urgency, able to set, communicate and meet aggressive deadlines with competing priorities

Not required, but a plus: statistical and analytical modelling
