Description
My Client is actively looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to join their team in Cork, Ireland on a contract basis. Competitive rate available.
The successful candidate must have excellent Linux experience (5+ years), VMware and Windows knowledge. You will be responsible for the design, build & configuration of Linux environments on a VMware & Cloud platform. The candidate will also be responsible for the administration, maintenance and support of the company wide infrastructure, including (Physical, Virtual and Cloud based), storage, VMware environment and infrastructure related applications.
Qualifications/Experience:
- IT Degree (or some directly related experience)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in VMware is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong administration skills of Linux Systems
- Strong administration skills of Windows System
- Strong knowledge of VMware including host & switch setup, storage allocation and general administration.
