My Client is a highly dynamic and reliable computer reseller providing leading best of breed IT hardware, software, networking and peripheral products.
They seek an Office 365 migration engineer who has amongst other skills strong exposure to Outlook and Skype for Business. You will have English as a primary language but would ideally speak further European languages.
Specific responsibilities.
- Providing direct support to users being migrated as a floor-walker.
- Providing guidance directly to users on how to user the Office 365 tools, specifically Outlook and Skype for Business.
- Capturing any issues that can't immediately be resolved to be shared with other members of the Migration Team.
- Capturing and reporting back status of on-site migration activity.
- Taking part in troubleshooting and problem resolution activities as a member of the migration support team.
Essential competencies:
- At least 5 years' experience of providing IT support to end users.
- Strong knowledge of Outlook 2016 and Skype for Business 2016.
- Experience of providing user training/explaining to users how to use IT tools such as MS Outlook.
- You will have 2 previous customer migrations with Lotus Notes to MS Office 365 being ideal.
- Exposure to European scale projects, and an understanding of the challenges such a migration presents.
- Able to clearly communicate status of migration activity/issues etc.

- Able to work autonomously whilst working remotely.
- Taking personal initiative whilst aligning approach with the rest of the team.
- Delivery focus - to ensure that project is delivered in a timely manner.
