Cyber Security Analyst required for a major Financial Services client - 6-month initial contract, £450 pd.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
Deliver testing activity as required by the schedules and assist in the delivery of testing activity by peers and colleagues in the team.
Respond knowledgably and with confidence to any challenge or enquiry in relation to testing activities.
Run vulnerability assessments
Analyse the assessment report and communicate this to various TCCs and management
Co-ordinate with various TCCs for mitigating the vulnerability and re-run the scan once the vulnerability is mitigated.
Audit the Firewall configuration and identify the anomalies and propose the required changes.
Conduct penetration testing and provide the analysis & report.
Co-ordinate with 3rd parties
Candidates must have experience in the following:

5+ years working within a similar information security role

Excellent knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies, Networking and Firewalls, web apps, testing principles, and excellent knowledge of security principles

Cyber Security processes including; Vulnerability Analysis, DLP, IAM, Security Control policies, PCI compliance, Load balancing, Firewalls, Proxy-s

Disaster recovery

Experience with Vulnerability assessment tools

Penetration Testing experience

Firewall configuration auditing tools

Strong technical understanding of network fundamentals and common Internet protocols.

Strong technical understanding of the information security threat landscape (attack vectors and tools, best practices for securing systems and networks)

Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to articulate, explain security events to the team and stakeholders
