Tangent International are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to work a 6 month extendable contract based in Belgium. We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about lab operations and working with both development and test teams to keep critical business functions available.The successful candidate will be an expert in hardware installation and knowledge of primary hardware types in use (Dell, Sun, HP). Expertise in Storage Arrays and network storage environments (specifically NetApp setups and maintenance) mandatory. Expert in vSphere (ESXi) and Virtual Machines. Worked with Solaris and Microsoft environments and competent in installing and setting up such environments. Strong knowledge in networks and configuration of network components, specifically F5 load balancers and network Firewalls. Administrative background in lab diagrams, asset management, inventory management, and lab upgrade documentation a requirement.
General lab operations background and knowledge of development and test tools. Desired knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Bugzilla, Hadoop, Elastic search, Oracle databases, JAVA, SPLUNK, Scripting.
