Role: Infrastructure Support Engineer
Location: Durham
Duration: 3 months Initially
Day Rate: Negotiable
Responsibility: Ensure that downtime of corporate systems, due to infrastructure or desktop hardware failures is maintained within agreed service levels.
You will be the sort of Support Engineer who thrives on solving people's problems & be an expert in managing priorities without letting issues fall through the cracks.
Essential Skills:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Demonstrate working knowledge of ITIL
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience with the support infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft operating and RDBM systems, voice and data networks.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A strong team player.
- Effective at solving problems.
- Achieves deadlines.
- Motivated to acquire new skills via both structured and self-learning
