Our international pharmaceutical client are looking for a CQV Engineer to support them on their biotech expansion project in Eastern Europe. The location is a major city, close to an international airport. They are looking to interview and hire the fitting individual in the coming months with a view to start the project in January 2018.About the project
Our client will spend €50M on an investment project to expand its biotechnology plant which uses unique, cutting edge technology. They are looking to implement 2 new trains to their existing facility, this time utilising single use technology. Currently going into detailed design phase, they will be beginning construction in Q3 2017, then installation and CQV throughout 2018 with a view to run first PV batches towards the beginning of 2019. Handover to ops is planned for mid-2019.
The Role
Duties/Deliverables:
- Carry out FATs/SATs of new production equipment - some company travel may be required.
- C&Q of new equipment on site, working together with local resources.
- IQ, OQ, PQ on Fermenters, Centrifuges, Buffer Prep : single use technology.
- Previous experience of CQV on a biotech start-up project.
- Experience with Single Use Technology on a bulk drug substance plant.
- Experienced with both upstream and downstream equipment.
- Worldly individual, open to working in a multicultural environment, happy to relocate for 12 months.
- All-inclusive hourly pay rate in Euros - dependent on experience level.
