We are looking for an Ops Engineer with experience in Oracle
Job Description As an senior Ops Engineer you will work in a DevOps team. Your job will be to ensure system continuity handle functional and technical service requests, performance testing/tuning and implement system and configuration changes via structured working processes (continuous integration). Understanding what the business needs and how that is reflected in the systems is a key part of the function. Much of your time you will be able to spend on setting up of auto deployment, different kinds of monitoring and standardizing error handling.
We work on the basis of the Scrum/Agile method and Continuous ntegration/Continuous Delivery practices.
Your work environment You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment. Key words are complex products (derivatives), fixed regulatory deadlines, international scope.
The focus is of the IT department is on high-quality software delivered in time using iterative development.
Who we are looking for An Ops Engineer with a broad experience handling large data. Your education is at minimum HBO level. Ability to communicate in English is a must. Your colleagues are quite diverse and have several nationalities. The new DevOps teams use the scrum method and Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices.
Your profile
- Relevant IT Education -5 year+ relevant software engineering experience - Oracle, Java, Interface technologies (Java, Frameworks, Dojo, MQ, XFB, JMS ) and formatting (XML, FPML)
- Analytical - Experience with continues delivery (tooling/processes) - Knowledge of/experience with Business Objects, Unix/Linux - Flexibility in a very demanding and challenging environment - Good communicator both written and oral - Result driven - Team player
