Description
Role Responsibilities
- Support daily network integration, acceptance & handover activities on the Programme
- Act as a network integration resident engineer for customer in Ireland
- Attend site Monday to Friday normal working hours
- Base with customer locations around the Dublin area and customer HQ
Essential requirements
- A minimum of 5-10 years proven hands-on network engineering experience
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (eg, IPSEC, HSRP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) with relevant experience of at least 5 years
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Full understanding of the network integration process for Mobile Backhaul Networks
- Full understanding of Cisco ASR product set
- Comfortable in presenting new concepts to people some of whom may not be as skilled
- CCNP or higher
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
