Description

Seeking a Software Integration Engineer to help with the integration and maintain transactional systems. The successful candidate shall be skilled at the integration and maintenance of a product, including debugging issues to root causes.

The successful candidate will also have a solid understanding of concepts related to networking, software architecture, and standard programming practices.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with system-level integration and testing, specifically, the integration of systems and software
  • Utilize software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally acquired software products
  • Experience verifying and validating the software and system work as intended.
  • Experience recognizing and responding to urgent system demands
  • Experience working both in a team environment and individually
  • Experience developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex algorithms
  • Experience working on large complex systems
  • Compiles and assembles software from source code
  • Executes build procedures that are used to support software product development, Integration testing as well the product baseline for formal test and delivery
  • Assists in the development of software configuration standards for company wide use
  • Tracks and reports on Third Party Software products and licensing usage
  • Supports others to complete analysis, evaluations and design alternatives and to implement process improvements
  • Supports project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule and then initiates the build and packaging process
  • Works with senior staff or development engineers to correct build errors
  • Frequent contact with employees and managers within the department and development groups

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience with User Interface development
  • Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools
  • Experience with Scripting languages
  • Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
  • Strong time management skills
  • Fully proficient in the use of all MS Office Suite applications
  • Clear understanding of Software Configuration Management Applications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Works under normal supervision
  • Follows established directions
  • Grasps and applies new information quickly; handles more complex assignments
  • Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment and professionally executes projects with little direction
