We have been engaged by a well-established UK Retail Financial Services organisation to lead & advise on the end-to-end migration of all UK Mortgage Books.
We are looking for a highly experienced Consultant who has a detailed understanding of the Consumer Mortgage market, industry regulations, process optimisation & can design and deliver the Mortgage book migration program across several technology platforms and geographical locations across the UK.
Main Responsibilities
You will have had significant experience gained in the Consumer Mortgages market and be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering SME Advisory solutions focused on migration of customer data from Legacy systems, improving the process flows and delivering an on budget & on time program for client.
You will need to be able to evaluate & capture current state, define the future state, process flows, including downstream/upstream impact and have a clear understanding and experience of how to deliver a Technology led Mortgage book transformation & migration.
The Ideal Candidate
You will need to demonstrate deep Mortgage market expertise and leadership of several complex Retail Mortgage Book Migrations along with a good understanding of the relevant Regulatory initiatives including Mortgage Market Review (MMR) & Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD). Ideally you will be CeMap qualified with knowledge of the end to end underwriting process.
You will have worked extensively in the UK Mortgages market or a similar financial centre, within a Consumer lending organization or as a specialist Consultant within a retail financial services organization or at an independent Consultancy organisation that focuses specifically on Mortgage services. You will also need to have the flexibility to work between Birmingham, Leeds & Edinburgh location.
