IT Hardware/Software Asset Management Specialist
One of our global clients is urgently seeking a IT Hardware/Software Asset Management specialistto join their multinational team in a progressive environment, using cutting-edge technologies for a stable 6-12 months contract in Amsterdam.
The ideal IT Hardware/Software Asset Management Specialist will have the following skills/experience:
* Develops and documents Client's license model and ensures this model is reflected in Flexnet Management Suite tool configuration & data
* Develops, Implements, and Tracks software license maturity plan to increase Client's license position maturity and overall compliance
* Documents software license compliance approach, process, and roles & responsibilities
* Makes recommendations on ITAM tool(s) configuration & usage to enable license compliance. Works with Tools sub-team to ensure FNMS requirements are implemented.
* Develops, updates, and presents software license compliance performance metrics including software license position, number of titles in compliance, etc.
* Participates in license compliance audits by providing reports, evidence, and process information
* Proactively monitors for non-compliance situations and makes immediate plans for rectification; once plans are approved by Client, tasks are executed per plan
* Makes recommendations to Client on additional ways to save money and executes approved changes
* Works with other ITAM team members to partner on their areas as needed based on volume and team priorities
* Manage and maintain software titles in the software catalog
* Maintenance renewals & other in-scope contracts
* Tracks savings related to renewals, avoided license purchases, and other realized savings
* Review of new software titles to be introduced to the Client's environment
* Leads or assists in delivering periodic license true-ups/renewals
* Runs software license reports
* Works within Remedy to fulfil IT requests related to software or as require
