Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector in the UK. We are currently recruiting Fraud accountant investigator for 3 months initially with possible extension.
Details (including job spec):
To provide an investigative resource within a long-term major crime investigation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To investigate allegations of criminal activity and conduct, including organised and financial crime.
2. Identify, interview and take statements from victims and witnesses, ensuring that necessary support is provided.
3. To identify and interview suspects/offenders.
4. To manage, examine and investigate large quantities of exhibits and data.
5. To seize and view video evidence, making an assessment on the quality and usefulness for evidential purposes.
6. To complete file preparation and associated reports for submission to the Crown Prosecution Service.
7. To obtain, utilise and appropriately disseminate information and intelligence regarding the activities of persons suspected of committing.
8. To undertake any other tasks as instructed by the Senior Investigating Officer.
