Are you an Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in project work as well as 2nd and 3rd line support? Are you experienced in Citrix XenApp, virtualised environments, Windows Server infrastructure, and backup solutions? If so, apply now for this brand new contract role based in Bristol.A 6 month contract has come up for an Infrastructure Engineer / Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a Bristol based business which is investing in the improvement of their internal business systems and infrastructure.

The contract is to start by 22nd May at the latest, so ideally you will be immediately available on a 1-2 weeks' notice.
The role will be largely project based, and the successful Infrastructure Engineer will have skills in the following:
*Citrix XenApp
*Hyper-V (ideally, a strong background in VMware is also suitable)
*Backup systems (ideally Veeam)
*Windows Server up to Server 2012 R2 (new builds and upgrades)
*Active Directory
*Exchange Server
*Cisco networking would also be a benefit
The role will initially run for 6 months, and will be heavily project based. The Infrastructure Engineer will work on a number of projects including the delivery of a new Citrix farm (XenApp), Hyper-V upgrade from , Veeam backup upgrade, and various others.
The Infrastructure Engineer will have the autonomy to lead the projects, and will be able to bring their ideas to the table to ensure the successful completion of projects they're involved in.
The rate will be up to £300 per day and the role contract will initially be for 6 months.
