Senior Systems Administrator - 6 months - Belgium - Machelen-Diegem
Advantage Resourcing is seeking candidates to apply for a Senior Systems Administrator based in Belgium in Machelen-Diegem which is commutable from Brussels. We are looking for a senior engineer with strong networking and network storage background that can do systems administration at the hardware, base operating system, Middleware, and application layers with a strong background in configuration, setup, and troubleshooting.
We require a candidate that can take ownership of our NetApp clouds internationally and configure and TUNE them. Also required will be a strong background with ESXi and VM environments and setups ranging from monitoring, maintenance, configuration, and tuning.
We are seeking the following skills:
*The successful candidate will be an expert in hardware installation and knowledge of primary hardware types in use (Dell, Sun, HP).
*Expertise in Storage Arrays and network storage environments (specifically NetApp setups and maintenance) mandatory.
*Expert in vSphere (ESXi) and Virtual Machines.
*Worked with Solaris and Microsoft environments and competent in installing and setting up such environments.
*Strong knowledge in networks and configuration of network components, specifically F5 load balancers and network Firewalls.
*Administrative background in lab diagrams, asset management, inventory management, and lab upgrade documentation a requirement.
*General lab operations background and knowledge of development and test tools. Desired knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Bugzilla, Hadoop, Elastic search, Oracle databases, JAVA, SPLUNK, Scripting.
