Description
Oracle DBA required by Global Digital Media giant based in Amsterdam. This will be a 6 month rolling contract on a project likely to last 24 months and beyond.
Working in the Data Centre Technology team, the Oracle DBA will be responsible for the administration of retained production, test, development and training using Oracle and MySQL. The Oracle DBA will also be involved in change management, Security Management, Compliance and Governance as well as 2nd/3rd line technical escalation for incidents and problems.
Expected experience:
Oracle Database Administration
Oracle RAC
Exadata/ODA
Data Guard, Golden Gate, RMAN
MySQL
Significant knowledge of OEM
Thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of SQL coding
Knowledge of backup and restore
Experience managing site-to-site disaster solutions.
Qualified in one or more ITIL/Project Delivery methodologies
Proven track record of managing multiple complex project deliveries simultaneously
