Credit Risk Consultant
We are currently looking to hire a credit risk professional who can specifically work within credit quality assurance at a managerial level within commercial lending.
Credit Risk Responsibilities:
- Management and mentoring of staff.
- Lead CQA review of the bank's large customer exposures and other reviews in the plan and manage delivery.
- Oversight of closure of actions from CQA reviews
- Undertake Quality Control testing on the quality of decisions taken by the Risk Directors.
- Oversight of business line credit policies as they are presented for annual review, with focus on the commercial lending policies as well as in life credit policies
- Support the development of a credit policy framework
Credit Risk experience:
- Substantial credit risk experience in commercial finance, gained in a first line Risk capacity, having held a sizeable individual mandate to enable the effective review of the larger and more complex transactions of the bank.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a credit quality assurance or risk oversight role is desirable
- Prior experience of developing, documenting and producing credit risk policy is desirable
