Outline of Role:
The SME will provide second line technical support for CA Automation Suite for Clouds 1.6. He / She would be responsible to provide support on customisation, documentation and product maintenance activities. He / She would also be primarily responsible to liaise with CA to log tickets and troubleshoot any environment / configuration issues. The candidate will require an aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff problems, which may range from straightforward to more complicated technical issues.
Responsibilities:
1.Act as a single point of contact for all level2 / level3 incidents and problem tickets regarding IT issues and queries for CA ASC 1.6
2.Identify and liaise with the concerned teams to resolve issues
3.Support product customisation activities and also liaise with the product vendor for all environment related issues
4.Respond to incidents in accordance with priorities and agreed service levels
5.Update tickets in the service management tool
Technical skills:
1.Experience of working in CA Automation Suite for Clouds 1.6 specifically with the ones listed below is essential.
•CA Automation Suite for Clouds
•CA Embedded Entitlements Manager(EEM)
•CA Service Catalog
•CA Process Automation
•CA Server Automation
2.Active Directory knowledge. Creating user accounts for CA ASC, reset passwords, create groups etc... is essential
3.Knowledge of Scripting is essential
4.Arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in-house
Requirements:
1.About 4-6 years of prior work experience in CA Automation suite with Strong knowledge of VMware and CA Automation Suite for Clouds
2.Good technical and communication skills
3.About 8 - 10 years of prior work experience in working with automation tools
4.Incident Management experience - Managing incidents including business expectations and communication
5.Advanced User & Security Group Active Directory administration
6.Leadership and Communication
