Opportunity to join an ever expanding, exciting, global telco service provider who is now in need of a telecoms fibre and GIS professional looking for a new and exciting contract as an As-built and QS Engineer within the fibre planning and build department.
We have a requirement for a GIS technician or inventory analyst to join a leading international telecoms carrier to take ownership of updating and maintaining fibre solutions for customer connectivity.
The role holder will:
* Interact with Design & Build function to data capture HLD & LLD and as-built for customers
* Update and maintain fibre inventory in Smallworld PNI as per the as-built received from supply chain
* Engage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
* Validate applications, cross check measure with as-built to ensure units tally
* Raise queries to supply chain if measure application has lack of information
* Issue pay certificates to supply chain and liaise with internal delivery managers and PMs
The ideal candidate will have some experience in either inventories or will have used GIS Applications (Microstation, Autodesk, Smallworld PNI) etc.
If any candidates have some exposure to a telecoms carrier, operator or similar environment within a fibre planning, engineering, operations or similar department then that would be highly desirable.
You must also be analytically minded, have good attention to detail and documentation and be able to communicate effectively.
