I'm looking for a DevOps Engineer/ Senior DevOps Engineer to join a key client of ours with a unique 2 year project on a 6 month contract (likely 12 month extension) with a day rate depending on experience between £500 - £525 pd experience depending.
This is very much a hands-on position so you will need to bring practical experience from previously acting as a DevOps Engineer/ Senior DevOps Engineer. A key focus of this role is the focus on middleware integration / API so you will need to have experience with projects of this nature.
Lead DevOps experience;
* Previous experience in a Lead DevOps position within a large organisation.
* Experience with Agile methodologies & having worked within multi-team scaled agile environment (SCRUM, TDD).
* Excellent knowledge working with Continuous Integration / Automated Deployment; Jenkins, Puppet, Chef etc.
* Middleware / Messaging / SOA environments.
* Managing and deploying on Cloud based platforms.
* Experience with Release and Configuration Management process.
* Strong leadership skills.
This is a really great position to work across a unique project in a long term contract with further opportunities likely to be made available following completion.
