System Engineer - Anderlecht, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH, FRENCH and DUTCH (trilingual)
Skills and Experience:
- Competent in Backup SW: Networker (current version in use V8; upgrade planned to V9.1)
- Knowledge and/or experience in working with the following OS to be backed up:
- Vmware/windows (Exchange/SQL and other home made applications + packages)
- PowerVM/AIX: (mainly SAP and other application with DB2)
- Linux (with or without Vmware): (BI, SAP HANA)
- Ability to achieve the following tasks:
- Incident management (eg incomplete backups, performance issues, abnormal stops)
- Pro-active maintenance (patches)
- Ad hoc restoration
- Performance, trending and capacity analysis (eg monthly reports, documentation)
- Release information and upgrade planning
- Set up of new back up tasks
