Description

The Multinational Force and Observers, the independent international organization responsible for supervising the implementation of the security provisions of the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty, seeks an experienced IT professional to design, configure, maintain and monitor all IP Networks and services within a multinational military and civilian force of approximately 1200 people distributed between 2 camps and 8 manned remote sites and 13 unmanned remote communications and camera sites.

The successful candidate will be a university graduate majoring in Information Systems Management, Telecommunications Management or related field with a minimum of 5 years of commercial and/or government or military experience in the areas of information systems and telecommunications including at least three years of managerial experience in a multicultural environment. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent preferred. Strong technical knowledge and experience working with networking technologies such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, other network security devices and appliances, and wireless bridges and access points is indispensable. This should include familiarity with well-known vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, D-Link, Fortinet, Cambium, etc. Strong understanding of IP telephony technologies and vendors is required. A good understanding of Legacy/analog telephony is also desirable. User level knowledge of SAP Materials Management, Plant Maintenance and Finance/Control Modules or other ERP systems is desirable. Fluent written and spoken English mandatory, Knowledge of Spanish or Arabic would be useful.

Prior military/Middle East experience desirable.

The position is in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, in an international work community of numerous nationalities. A two-year renewable unaccompanied-status contract including housing, meals and recreational facilities is offered. May be eligible for tax free status.
