Proteus Europe is searching for a Hardware Engineer speaking French available to work in a contract of 6 months for one of our clients in Belgium.

Your New role:-
-Develop, document and maintain procedures for IMACD Services in line with the company policies
-Maintain the asset information, keeping it up-to-date to reflect the actual asset landscape at the company at all times
-Follow up of the company hardware assets in order to identify the company hardware assets that are reaching their end of life
-Create a hardware for the company asset refreshment plan according to the asset refresh strategy
-Execute the hardware asset refreshment plan
-Propose and evaluate new hardware equipment to anticipate technology refreshment. Check compliancy with the company standards.
-Prioritize the handling of IMACD Service Requests based on their urgency level, and according to the approved IMACD procedures
-Ensure that the IMACD is linked with the access/account request(s) if the IMACD Service Request is related to a new arrival, move or departure of a copany staff or Contractor.
-Verify that the approval received for each IMACD Service Request complies with the approval workflow defined by the company
-Contact the end-user and make practical arrangements for the work to take place
-Coordinate pre-installation activities (eg network connectivity) and hold site survey if required for the IMACD Service Request
-Check with the user for the back-up of the end-users data stored locally on the company
-Deliver the hardware and/or software IMACD Services according to the Service Request
-If required, configure installed hardware and/or software according to approved configurations
-Restore the end-users profile
-LAN patching in wiring cabinets (all Non-OPS rooms)
