IT Infrastructure Architect
IT Infrastructure Architect urgently required for interesting contract in Prague, Czech.
6 month rolling contract based Prague.
The IT Infrastructure Architect will be Responsible for the following:
- Infrastructure projects management and delivery.
- Defining the company technologies strategy, policies and procedures.
- Investigate, understand and document the current Infrastructure environment. Identify gaps and recommend remediation.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture to create the target state infrastructure designs to meet business performance requirements.
- Develop the infrastructure architecture strategy considering security, performance and reliability.
- Creates infrastructure life cycle roadmaps.
The IT Infrastructure Architect will ideally have the following skills and expertise:
- Infrastructure architecture design.
- Experience deploying new infrastructure technologies and process improvements.
- Ability to create technical documentation for design, build, and transition to future state.
- Strong technical understanding of cloud standards, network topologies, virtualized Servers.
- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software.
- Familiarity with x86 platform, VMware, Hyper-V, Windows, Linux, MSSQL, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, JBOS, Jenkins, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
- Knowledge of network topology and associated technologies, including load balancing.
- Knowledge of system monitoring, capacity planning and performance tuning.
Other Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field/Advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player.
- Advanced knowledge of English and Czech.
