A leading service provider is seeking a Network Engineer who has strong experience with Firewalls and overall network support and implementations
The role:
Creation of a Solution architecture with a propose serving for the configuration of the Network & Firewall environment(s). Every solution is described in a Solution Network DLD. This document describes which standard service, functionality; (server hardware is used for the solution. The Solution Network DLD contains the specifications for the necessary network services (eg: application traffic stream filtering, load-balancing parameters) and delivers a general description of the solution/application. Solution Network DLD is delivered by the FMT & IS Network Engineering Team and is after implementation of the solution supported but Network Operation (OIS)
From a network point of view give a functional description in a RCEC (review committees external connections certificate) document to describe the necessary measures to comply with the requirements of Risk & Security. Every connection between network segments with an unequal "trust level" must be described, judged and certified.
Creation of cookbooks with Low Level Details for the configuration of network and Firewall components
Creation/adapting an OSG (operation security guide) to reflect a conform to the minimal standards complying to CORPORATE OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT
Guarantees the setup is conforming to the IT risk minimum standards and complies with the defined BIA (Business Impact Analysis). Security and state compliant monitoring is in place.
Help troubleshooting as 3d line network engineer.
