Job Description role:
The candidate would be responsible for:
UNIX Administration.
Problem and change management in UNIX environment.
Patch and Package management of UNIX environment.
Performance monitoring and capacity management.
HA environment management.
Required Skills:
AIX:
Proficient in IBM AIX (Verison 4.x, 5.x 6)
In-Depth knowledge of LPARs and Micro partitioning virtualization environment.
Should have expertise in design, development and management of HACMP Cluster environment.
Should have expertise in volume management.
Strong in File and Print Server Management;
Should have expertise in backup products.
Should have worked with OEM hardware (IBM RS6000, 7038-6M2,7026-H70,7017-S85,7028-6C4, p5 & p6 Servers)
Should have work experience on IBM high end Servers (p590)
Should have experience in patch and package management is AIX environment.
Should have good knowledge of Shell Scripting.
Good Proficiency in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning.
Capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance
Should have work experience in LDAP.
Knowledge/experience in management and troubleshooting of OpenVMS/Tru64/HPUX will be an advantage.

(2.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing incident & problem management
(3.) To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team
(4.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions/Reopen Cases
(5.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training fresher s, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives
(6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
