IT Enterprise Architect - Salesforce - Utrecht - 6 months - URGENT
We are currently supporting our client in sourcing an experienced IT Enterprise Architect for an initial 6 month contract based in Utrecht. This role is extremely urgent.
Role Description:
The Enterprise Architect chair the Design Authority in the Salesforce programme.
This programme will develop and deploy a Front End based on Salesforce, Apttus and Click - integrated with the SAP Back End for global deployment.
The Design Authority consists of members with specific expertise on the business processes, Salesforce, Apttus, Click as well as SAP. The Design Authority approves design decisions using the programme design principles, constantly seeking simplicity - balancing adaptations to the business processes with the need and effort to customise the applications in scope.
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing the integrated programme information architecture, which represents the in-scope business processes, data and IT applications. The enterprise architect works with a range of people in business and IT to lead and facilitate the development of artifacts. These artifacts are used to guide the business toward a defined future state.
Responsibilities/Key Activities:
- Manage the development and evolution of programme information architecture in iterative phases (based on time and objectives). Activities in these phases include developing timelines, organising working sessions and creating deliverables;
- Chairs the Design Authority to take key programme design decisions. Consult with business and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) and decides on options based on risks, cost-benefits, impacts on business processes and system impact.
Required Experience/Competencies:
- Minimum five years' experience in similar programme solution architecture or enterprise architecture roles, working in or closely with business and IT on process design or architecture;
- Extensive knowledge of EA processes, methods and frameworks;
- Familiarity with different application delivery methods such as Waterfall and Agile delivery. Experience in Salesforce, CPQ and SAP development and implementation are a plus;
- Ability to reach out across the programme and communicate with people at different levels, with diverse needs and agendas; related capabilities include facilitation and teaming skills;
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories and to think creatively and beyond normal constraints;
- Leading multi discipline, high-performance work teams.
