DESCRIPTION:
- Seeking an Oracle DBA for the upgrade of Oracle E-business Suite platform and associated infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale migration projects
- Extensive experience in developing comprehensive migration strategies, including a detail level project plans, resource and infrastructure requirements
- Previous work experience with OPS - an asset
The Oracle DBA will require the following skills:
Hyperion Experience:
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge migrating Oracle Hyperion Applications . Experience required in migrating Oracle Hyperion Applications to Oracle Engineered Systems, database upgrade to 12c, database migration from Non-ASM to ASM storage.
- Experience required in configuring Oracle Hyperion Applications for Single Sign-On using Oracle Access Manager and Oracle Universal Directory
- Expert level knowledge of installing, configuring and cloning Oracle Hyperion Applications
OBIEE Experience:
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge installing, configuring and tuning Oracle Business Intelligence 12c Enterprise Edition. Experience required in installing OBIEE Applications on Oracle Engineered Systems and source database upgrade to 12c and ASM.
- Expert level knowledge on resolving potential SQL performance degradation after 12c database upgrade
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition with clustered multi nodes implementations
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge installing, configuring and tuning Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite.
- Experience required in configuring OBIEE Applications for Single Sign-On using Oracle Access Manager
- Strong hands on experience in ETL Development using Oracle SQL/PLSQL procedures
Infrastructure Experience:
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows along with an understand of general networking, storage, and system administration concepts
- Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Database 12c, including Oracle Clusterware and Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
- Working knowledge of Oracle Engineered Systems, including install, configuration, patching, Engineered System specific monitoring, tuning, backup and recovery and migration to Oracle Engineered Systems.
- Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting
