Role and Responsibilities
To provide a lead role in the development of a portal solution incorporating HTML5/CCS3 portal pages, Javascript, K2 Blackpearl and WCF Services. You will be familiar with setting up K2 Development, Test and Production environments and their support for the life cycle of the implementation programme. You will support and contribute to development activities using the .net framework and will be expert in K2 Blackpearl (Forms/Workflow/SmartObjects) technologies.
The project will incorporate Waterfall methodologies and you will be able to influence design decisions and fulfil the role of K2 Lead Developer.
Specific Objectives and Deliverables
Objectives
- K2 Infrastructure design pattern for Development, Test and Production environment
- Influence architectural design decisions using .net and K2 Blackpearl technologies
- Work with Business Analysts and consume user stories and develop a tiered portal solution using Web Pages, Forms and WCF Data Access
- Provide business and technical design standards and objectives of the project
- Work with, support and mentor junior team members (graduates)
- Develop processes using K2 Blackpearl (Forms/Workflow/SmartObjects)
- Provide and maintain a User Interface theme and style guide
- Create and run functional test scripts to perform unit testing
- Assist planning and construction of development environment including source safe and development platforms
- Develop code release processes for rollout to Test and Production
- Develop test harnesses
- Undertake code reviews to ensure code is of a consistent quality standard
- Support implementation life cycle
Deliverables
- Style Guide and standards in support of a Responsive design
- K2 infrastructure design patterns
- Business and Technical Design Standards
- Code base to meet end user requirements as per detailed design documentation
- User Interface in accordance with the projects style guide
- Defect Triage and resolution plans
- Test artefacts to test code functionality standalone and as part of an integrated solution
