Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Operate in a 24 x 7 shift environment as an operator.
- Ensure the effective and timely execution of batch management across the environment on a 24x7 basis.
- Participate in the proactive monitoring and management of the entire IT environment ensuring timely response to alerts to avoid service interruption.
- Ensure daily checklist activates are carried out.
- Contacting respective tower representative for any issue follow-up.
- Participate in the BCM activities.
- Ensure all elements of the function comply with client standards, IT Security policies and Group Internal Audit requirements.
- Support the proactive management of the relationship with the IT teams to optimize the effectiveness of the Operations shift function in supporting the greater IT community.
Key Attributes:
Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Demonstrable experience in identifying and analysing problems and business requirements to develop, propose and implement solutions using sound judgment to make dependable decisions.
Communication & Influencing: Ability to communicate ideas and information in an engaging manner to make a positive impact and to influence senior management both in IT and business on the strategic direction of the distributed environment.
Customer Relationship: Capability to build, sustain and enhance the customer experience and customer knowledge of ITO service offerings and operating model. Ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships with the aim of creating value with our business partners
Technical Competency: Strong technical understanding of the services, applications, infrastructures and processes.
