Position: Infrastructure Consultant with vCenter experience
Duration: 6-12 months rolling contract
Location: Nijmegen, Netherlands
Job Description:
Hardware Management, Blade Server Configuration and Management, Remote/Console access and diagnostics knowledge, BIOS/Firm ware version control.
OS Installation, Upgrade, Patching, OS Hardening and security standards.
User administration, Privileged access management, password compliance, User termination process compliance.
Disk administration, Unix file system volume management, File system administration.
Cluster, high availability administration, performance tuning and Capacity planning/forecasting and troubleshooting.
VMware administration, vCenter Management, V2V, P2V and patching/firmware management.
Infra Applications like DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP, Antivirus, Backup and restoration, File/Print Management, Event Management and task scheduler.
Root Cause analysis and Strategic corrective action
(1.) To provide telephonic and remote troubleshooting support
(2.) To handle L3 complex calls under L3 Engineer
(3.) To attend and handle complex L2 calls
(4.) To maintain SOP's and runbooks of the respective technical track.
