Proteus Europe is searching for a German Speaking SQL Server DBA for a client in Austria.Our Client :-
You will be working within an important Austrian Banking company that provides a wide range of Finance services to its customers across Austria. It is part of a larger group of Financial service providers and is well respected company.
Your New role :-
We are looking for a Database Administrator who has experience with MS SQL Server.
You will ideally have the following experience :-
- Administration of the databases
- Experience in the structure of high-availability environments in the database environment (hpts. SQL server)
- Results in virtual environments
- Discovered knowledge in troubleshooting and performance tuning
- T-SQL Scripting
- Desirable multi-year experience as SQL Server DBA:
- Replication
- Log Shipping
- Clustering
- Availability Groups
- Experience with large databases and high data volume (> 1 PB)
- Ideally also knowledge:
- SAN storage, Windows Server
- SQL Server CLR
- Error tracking
- Powershell Scripting
Basic knowledge
- Virtualization (VMware ESXi)
- Operating Systems Windows Server
- Monitoring (Nagios / Icinga / Check_MK)
- Windows applications / server systems
- IIS
- ARR
- Windows Server 2012 R
