A leading ICT outsourcing organisation are looking for a Presales Consultant to join an already growing team. You will be the delicate balance between the technical world and the customers' world.
You will need to be technically knowledgeable, so you can deliver solutions and answer technical questions from the customer and your sales team. You'll also need to be able to communicate these answers and solutions to people of different technical backgrounds.
You will report to the Technical Lead, supporting the account team as a skilled point of contact for pre & post sales activities
Responsibilities as a Presales Consultant
Capture requirements from customers, both technical and solution focused
Assist with proposal drafting and design documents
Presales support to customer and post-sale care
Define and carry out repeatable testing of technical solutions
Document customer actions, issues and resolutions - chronologically
Recommend and evaluate new products, services and technologies to the team
Contribute your knowledge to the entire team, including marketing
Skills required as a Presales Consultant
Have excellent communication skills and etiquette, with customer-facing experience
A great understanding of IP Networking and mobile core network architecture
A good understanding of VPN topologies and associated routing, Firewalling and authentication services
A solid understanding of common Enterprise IT architectures
Able to clearly and easily communicate technical solutions to customers in an approachable manner
Have experience in actively monitoring and managing open support cases and providing enterprise technical support
Be competent in wireless technologies
Be able to help improve and develop new systems and methods
Be able to troubleshoot, prioritise issues and work under pressure
IP Networking qualifications (CISCO or equivalent) would be desirable
This is for a 6 month contract with occasional travel to Belgium
