Proteus Europe is searching for a Storage Administrator with VMware skills for a long term role based in Austria.Our Client :-
You will be working within an important Austrian consultancy Telecom company that provides wide range of Telecom services to its customers across Austria. It is part of a larger group of telecom service providers and is well respected company.
Your New role :-
We are looking for a Storage Administrator with experience in the following:
- Advanced knowledge in the environment with modern storage technologies (preferably already with IBM products such as V Storwize and Spectrum Virtualize Controller, SVC SAN Volume Controller and Cisco MDS SAN Directors)
- Very good knowledge of Fiber Channel storage, storage virtualization, FC SAN switch infrastructure and storage solutions (block)
- Experience in monitoring, optimizing and tuning storage / SAN / SVC systems in general (preferably with IBM Spectrum Control formerly TPC)
- Good knowledge of data storage for virtual environments and databases (preferably skills with IBM Spectrum Protect, formerly TSM for VEs, DBs, SQL Server)
Basic knowledge
- Virtualization (VMware ESXi)
- Operating Systems Windows Server, Linux
- Monitoring (Nagios / Icinga / Check_MK)
- Scripting (Powershell, Perl)
