I am currently looking for a highly motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join an Engineering and Manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Huddersfield for an initial 6 month contract with potential extensions.
We have interview slots for this Thursday and we are looking for candidates to be able to start by the 17th July/ASAP. The role is Monday-Friday and is within normal office day light hours.
You will be responsible for fault finding, repair, and continuous improvement of all plant and Equipment (5 production lines are in operation). The client are involved in automotive sector, working with engines and other parts for end users. An experienced team will support you in getting up to speed with their bespoke hardware and systems.
Qualifications, experience, competencies and skills
- Approximately 5 or more years of experience in a similar role
- Experience of working with a range of PLC's including Siemens S7, Allan Bradley and Mitsubishi (all of which are used onsite)
- Proven experience of breakdown, and modification for continuous improvement of controls and systems
- Thorough understanding of PLC, HMI and SCADA programming best practice.
- FMCG/Manufacturing/production line experience a bonus
- Excellent systematic and methodical troubleshooting skills.
