Windows Technical Engineer 6-12 months Contract Dublin.

My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Windows Technical Engineer to join their team on-site with one of their clients for a contract basis.

This role is an integral member of the project technical team responsible for delivering support to projects of varying size and complexity. The role is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager. You will be required to work with customer to gather application and server discovery information, you will Document all discovery information and ensure is it uploaded to the project data management toolset. Candidates will perform analysis on information gathered to verify migration methods and procedures for Servers/applications. You will provide assistance to customer in the migration of application to new Windows platform

Successful candidates will have 5 -8 years commercial experience in enterprise migrations. You will have In-depth hands on knowledge and experience working with Windows Server technologies, this will include experience with Windows2003, Windows 2008, Windows 2012, and Windows 2016. You will have experience in troubleshooting/resolving issues outside one's direct experience. Willingness to work outside of business hours. You will have proven project experience in technical role on IT Infrastructure projects (Windows Server desirable) It would be desirable to have a Microsoft certification (MCSE), it would also be desirable to have experience in app migration.
