The Role
ACS Designer
Role Description
A large service provider has an AAA platform to manage granular administrative access to their network estate of circa. 2,000 devices. They require the devices on this AAA platform to be across to another existing instance of ACS. This role will be to design and implement this. They also have a need to create a new instance of AAA for a separate project. This role requires knowledge of the creation of new environment.
Main Responsibilities

The successful migration of an Cisco ACS V3 set of devices to ACS V5.x.

Produce a LLD and migration plan for this.

Liaison with the various stakeholders to produce this.

Working with a test plan, to pre-test this migration in a test environment.

Update Operational documentation for the system.

Liaison with the Operational support groups to enable them to support the new devices.
Technical Skills (Essential)

Cisco ACS V4 & V5 - Installation, Administrating and Operating.

AAA/TACACS+ configuration and operation in a Cisco and Juniper environment.

Experience in migrating from Cisco ACS V3 to V5.x.

Producing technical documentation and plans.

Some Scripting manipulation experience would be advantageous.
