Hello,

for our client in Lyon (France), we are currently searching a Global Technology Architect responsible for defining and enforcing technology standards at Group level and ensuring best practices are followed. Defines and documents platform blueprints for new applications.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Executes technology governance activities (Compliance report)
  • Creates reliable, scalable et cost efficient architectures
  • Keeps Blueprints, Standards, Best practices up-to-date
  • Supports IT overall on Technology portfolio
  • Insures up-to-date knowledge on technologies of interest to my client
  • Organizes close vendor relationship
  • Communicates the technology portfolio
  • Creates technology community between local country organization and Global Teams
  • Defines list of technical services
  • Provide support during Proof of Concept and design phases

Certifications: Certification within a recognized Architecture framework (ie TOGAF/Zachman) or ability to obtain. Azure certification nice to have or willing to obtain. ITIL 3 Certification or willing to obtain.

Knowledge:

  • Strong Application Architecture background demonstrated through a proven track record of leading, influencing and creating architecture standards incl. solution, data and interfaces.
  • Strong ITIL knowledge and experience working within and ITIL environment.
  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft technologies especially related to Azure Cloud (IaaS & PaaS).
  • Experience in application migration/refactoring from traditional datacenter to Cloud.
  • Experience in designing architecture for mobile applications
  • Proficiency/knowledge in one or more of the following: Cloud architectures (preferably Azure), Office365 ecosystem, SharePoint, Sitecore, Oracle database, virtualization/containerization (Docker), Document management (ECM), Integration technologies (ESB/ETL).
  • Experience with owning Technology portfolio management and roadmap
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30%.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working within both multinational and multi-cultural environments.
  • Any additional language is a plus, especially with French and Spanish.
