DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an Oracle Tuxedo ART Mainframe Rehosting technical consultant. The successful candidate will facilitate technology solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness, maximize business value and enable business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating Mainframe re-hosting designs based on the client's requirements. The deliverable is a System Design Specification.
  • Overseeing Mainframe re-hosting migration and testing to ensure a high quality deliverable to the client.
  • Developing and managing strong relationships with client at all levels.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • SDLC
  • Waterfall methodology
  • Oracle Tuxedo and ART Workbench
  • 5+ years of experience with Mainframe technologies including Cobol, CICS, JCL, PL/1, DB2 and IMS
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting role
  • Ability to support business development through proposals and client presentations
  • Bachelor level education in Computer Science (or related degree)
  • Excellent communication, documentation and reporting skills
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of delivering on time, on budget and meeting client commitments
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to integrate well into internal and client teams
  • Travel within the GTA may sometimes be required.
