I am currently recruiting for a Database Engineer with strong knowledge of MS SQL to work for a client of mine in Huizingen/Zaventem, Belgium. The client were founded nearly 150 years ago and are a global company that manufacture, developed, rent construction and mining equipment with around 50,000 staff worldwide.Migration of SQL Servers and turnover to production conform with the clients guidelines
Required skills:
Strong knowledge of MS SQL regarding:
- High availability
- Disaster recovery
- Performance troubleshooting
Being able to read and interpret query plans, thinking about indexing strategies and researching wait statistics are key
3+ years BI Knowledge
3+ Windows Server knowledge
3+VMWare vSphere

Start date: August
Contract length: 8 months with a possibility of extension
Rate: €400 per day
Location: Huizingen/Zaventem, Belgium
Occasional international travel may be required!
