Description

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to work at our multinational client in The Hague

Expected tasks and deliverables by the Consultants

  • Organise workshops with key stakeholders in order to collect the requirements for the future state of the CI/CD pipeline, development method and test automation.

  • Define, together with an Iterative Method Specialist an iterative software development method taking into account the complexity of the delivery model.

  • Define, together with a Software Integration/Build/Versioning tool Specialist a continuous integration and delivery pipeline supporting the chosen multi sourcing delivery model and proposed iterative development method. This includes the selection of tools and the integration into the pipeline.

  • Define a migration plan for those tools and/or repositories that will be replaced.

  • Define, together with a Software Integration/Build/Versioning tool Specialist a software versioning strategy aligned with the delivery model and the staging environments.

  • Define the toolset for software quality validation and describe the integration in the CI/CD pipeline. In this context, define the relevant dashboards for the developers and project managers and define the reports to be used during gate reviews.

  • Define, together with a Quality Expert the required toolset to support test automation and integration in the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Define how in the future state requirements will be traceable end to end during the development process, in the source code and during the testing process.

Educational and experience

  • University degree in IT with minimum 12 years hands on experience as Enterprise Architect in Software development Lifecycles.

  • Proven experience with Togaf and Archimate

  • Experience with iterative software development methods, Deployment/Build Tools, Versioning tools and Testing Methodologies/Tools would be an advantage.

  • Experienced with working in large government/public-body organisations;

  • Experienced in multi-national environment;

  • Specialised in transformation for IT services;

  • Experience in providing process and product advice.

  • Strong practical knowledge of industry standard development and integration technologies.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including experience with teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.

  • Ability to influence - and gain the support of - a wide range of stakeholders at different levels in the organisation.

  • A strong delivery-minded approach.

  • Experienced in cross-departmental transformation.

  • Experience with similar projects;

  • Very good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.

  • Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor's staff shall have a very good level of English (oral and written).

  • The knowledge of German and French will be of added benefit.
