IT Operation Specialist-Mainframe (ITIL; SQL;Log files;TSO;JCL;Splunk)
Description:
Primary tasks are supporting the production instance of one of Customer applications (incident investigation and resolution, root cause analysis).
You will also be required to carry out the following tasks
Check log files in production via Splunk
Check Mainframe logs and act accordingly
Check database performance
Handles batch job issues - investigate and understand the data
Execute SQL scripts in QMF
Check Outlook production mail boxes used by the Secure Mail
Access to a couple of utility applications aimed at assisting in fixing some of the problems.

General responsibilities
Monitor and maximize existing resources and maintain system availability by managing and scheduling jobs.
Provide 2nd level support to Service Desk and 3rd level support to IT-Supporters.
Interact with Database Specialist, Infrastructure Specialist, Network Specialist and Developers in all tasks related to job schedules, monitoring, batch operation, backup/recovery and maintenance of schedule tools and environments and potentially other infrastructure components and/or applications.
Act on a global level and may take part in on duty calls

Requirements:Profile
You have good communication skills.
You are fluent in English
You are ready to support highly available production environment by participating in a rotating on-call duty You are ready to work in a process oriented IT organisation
Any other additional language POLISH would be an advantage
