Description

Our client requires a Survival Equipment Technician for an initial 6 month contract in Salisbury

  • You will be expected to work as part of a small highly skilled team,
  • Providing 2nd Line support for a wide variety of aircrew and aircraft equipment. The work will involve military and civilian survival equipment.
  • You must have a flexible approach to working patterns, be prepared to work in challenging conditions.
  • Sound knowledge of Flying clothing, Personal Survival packs, aircrew training support and Parachute packing.
  • To ensure that survival/equipment maintenance and other related tasks are carried out efficiently and to quality in accordance with regulatory and corporate procedures
  • Carry out work effectively, efficiently and in accordance with HS&E legislation.
  • Ensuring that he/she has the appropriate tools, aircraft manuals and spares to meet the work programme.
  • Ensure that all work is properly documented; including update of aircraft technical records and supporting aircraft maintenance information systems.
  • Recognised apprenticeship in an Survival equipment discipline or equivalent experience iaw MAA-01 Chapter 13.4
  • Level 3 Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Survival Equipment Maintenance) )
