SAP Basis Consultant - Ireland
I am looking for a SAP Basis Consultant to design, deliver and support all activities associated with our clients IT strategy through innovative IT solutions. The main responsibilities include both Project and Support activities across all SAP environments.
- Investigate and resolve support incidents raised by the business and support team members on the resolution of their incidents.
- Work on internal SAP projects as required
- Identify potential process improvements opportunities across the landscape
- Manage and take responsibility for knowledge transfer for respective application area to other members of support and/or project team
- Provide SME/Quality role to Projects were requested/required
- Provide support and assistance for the ongoing roll out of SAP
Skills Required
- A minimum of 3 years relevant IT experience combined with core experience in SAP ECC 6, SAP PI, SAP BW/BO.
- AIX/DB2 experience or Linux/DB2 experience
- Performance monitoring, optimising and tuning SAP environments in line with Business requirements.
- Software Installations and upgrades. Application of Support Packs, Support Pack stacks using standard tools, Kernel upgrades.
- Performance monitoring, optimising and tuning SAP environments in line with Business requirements.
- Database administration - DB2, Database upgrades, fix packs, optimisation and tuning.
- Day to day management of the system
