SDN/OpenStack Network Engineer required.
This is a technical hands on rolewithin SDN/NFV Practice working for an industry-leading vendor of Software Defined Networking (Contrail and OpenStack), and across Network Virtualization (NFV)
An ideal candidate would have experience of SDN and NFV, but Training and on-the-job learning would be provided to develop skills in the 2 areas.
The SDN/NFV Consultant will be involved in any of a range of Project Delivery roles, such as architecture, design, lab deployment, testing, integration with networking, storage, compute and Service Provider IT (OSS/BSS), as well as software configuration/development, operational transition and adoption.
This is a great opportunity for someone to bring their existing Service Provider networking, NMS, OSS/BSS Systems Integration and project delivery skills to an existing Juniper Networks project, but also to learn and acquire skills on our industry leading SDN (Contrail), and NFV solutions.
ESSENTIAL:
- Linux strong skills
- Openstack (better RHOSP), virtualization skills. We do not need a guru on this but of course someone that has a good understanding
- Networking (mainly in Linux environment) skills
- SDN (better Contrail) understanding and ability to be trained on the job
- French speaking (I don't want to say that this is a MUST, but it's for sure a very important requirement)
- Very good relational skills
- Knowledge of Contrail plus
