Pay Rate: $20/hour (hours worked are hours paid; no benefits, no paid time off, no holiday pay)

COMPUTER HARDWARE INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Description: LARGE RETAIL NEW STORE OPENING, INSTALLATION of COMPUTER HARDWARE EQUIPMENT AND PERIPHERALS. You will be installing most of the computer hardware equipment and peripherals that goes into a RETAIL store. Work is a construction environment, electricians, carpenters, painters etc. Work will typically occur Monday thru Friday during site availability hours which are typically 6:00AM to 6:00PM (some possible weekend work). If there are construction delays, we may need to pull off the site for 1 or more days (Tech would know this fist hand as he/she is there). Hard hat may be required. Technician will need to be able to work on lifts or ladders (IDF data closet work). Able to move unpack boxes of equipment Ex. PC's, POS terminals, time clocks, Lexmark printers, hand held devices, IP phones. We will provide installation guides, blueprints, phone support.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- Work is a construction environment, electricians, carpenters, painters etc.

- Technician will need to be able to work on lifts or ladders (IDF data closet work)
- Able to move unpack boxes of equipment. Ex..PC's, POS terminals, time clocks, Lexmark printers, hand held devices, IP phones, and more
SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday; generally an 8.00 hour shift but Over Time will likely occur, but is not guaranteed and must be authorized. Shift can very as store availability is typically 6:00AM to 6:00PM
NOTE: If there are construction delays, we may need to pull off the site for 1 or more days. (Tech would know this fist hand as he/she is there and will have a pulse on the store progress and what can be done and what might need to be delayed for a day or two)
Installing:
Including but not limited to: Control Room Servers/Swtiches, Point of Sale Terminals, Time Clocks, Store PC's, Printers, Phones, Lexmark printers, hand held devices, IP phones, OTHER
Drug Test, Background Check and Motor Vehicle Records screening required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The person in this position must be able to:
Frequently talk, hear and see.
Frequently use hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
Regularly stand, walk, reach with hands and/or arms, and sit - all for long periods of time.
Ability to stand upright to repair equipment for possible long periods of time
Ability to crawl on the floor to get behind and/or under office furniture and/or equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequently be able to read computer terminal screen and use keyboard.
